I have an american greeting software that doesn't even come close to this program! I made a humorous card for for my mother that she absolutely LOVED it (getting a smile out of mom's face is a task) The only issue I had was i recieved an error while trying to download it to my system. I called tech support, and was up and running in 5 min. Nova Video Explosion Deluxe

5 stars (BEST VIDEO EDITING SOFTWARE OUT THERE!) - This is probally the best video software for and prosumer out there. I have used pinnacle software and others but not match up to the solid performance of this product. At first when i opened it i thought it was a waste, but into 20 minutes of messing around with all its features i knew this was for me. It is bundled with 5 discs including Sonic My DVD witch it a simple dvd software with great performance. You can export your movie in literally any format. Even HD to quicktime. I have only had one problem and that was when i tried a demo to sony vegas 5.0, it was identicall to this software but more advanced. Im not sure what the relation is but I was still hooked on this program. The only word of advice i have is for people that already have this product, if you have advanced and have mastered this software, go ahead and save up for a copy of sony vegas. It lets u have unlimted video layers and twice as many video effects and transitions. So i guess im done saying how much I love this program. So dont fall for other product reviews this is the program for you. 5 stars (Amazing!) - I love this software. It's got everything you really need if you're a prosumer. You can start doing really complex techniques in about 10 mins. If you've ever used Acid for music, then it will be a breeze for you. Its nearly identical to Sony Screenblast Movie Studio v3 (both came from Sonic Foundry before Sony bought out their media division). 5 stars (It Has Everything) - This has more clip art then I will ever need! 14, I repeat, 14 CD's full of clip art. It has vector and raster images, web graphics, high res photos, and backgrounds. The variety of clip art is amazing. I will highly recommend this clip art to anyone in need of high quality clip art!!!! 2 stars (comic book illustrations) - drawn by a 5-year old. I'm sorry, most of the vector and raster illustrations contained here are of very poor quality in my opinion. And, like some of the other reviews, I was not impressed w/ the photographs. Looks like someones bad vacation photos in spots, I counted 8 out of focus exposures of what looks like a hawk or something at great distance. Who got paid for that junk? I will keep it, but only because of the classic illustrations on a couple of the discs, and the fact I got a rebate. 2 stars (Don't Buy it for the Photo Images) - I have been searching everywhere for a product featuring professional, diverse photos. Where have they all gone? I am returning this product because I have no use for clipart and the photos are clearly pulled from somebody's old photo albums. They are no where near the professional quality shown on the box. Many photos are dark or horribly formatted and/or just plain cheesy. 5 stars (Super Software) - I got this software a few years ago when I first started my home business. It has done everything I have ever asked it to do. Then one day it started to lock up my system so I called tech support for help. As it turns out I had an old version of the software and it was causing problems with service pack 2. The only solution was for me to upgrade to the new version. They gave me 50% off the new program!!!! Now I am back up and sending out invoices. THANKS INVOICES AND ESTIMATES! 2 stars (Great except for the Bugs) - I bought this at OfficeMax because it was on clearance for $10. Now I realize why it was on clearance. The software is great in itself with all the features a small business would need without all the accounting features. I was looking for invoicing and customer records and the software had them both. However, the software has bugs that need to be sorted out. Sometimes, it would work but other times, the software would crash when I tried to create an invoice, and would open back up in Spanish or French version. Thus, it doesn't seem reliable to be able to make invoices at the convenience of the software. The software is great but the bugs are unacceptable. I was using Windows XP with and AMD Athlon XP computer. 4 stars (It works for me!) - I actually bought this software before reading any reviews on it. I was shopping for Quick Books Pro, but was set aback by the price. When I saw Invoices & Estimates Pro it looked like a bargain. It does 80% of what Quick Books does, and it's 1/8th the price. Since all I need is the ability to store customer records and print invoices, it was perfect (although it does lots more than just that). When I got it home and looked up some reviews I was disappointed at what people were saying. I wondered if I should just return it. Art Explosion Publisher Pro

4 stars (Good Value) - I am a youth pastor and make a lot of flyers, calendars, postcards, etc. and needed a program to do just that. I previously had experience with Microsoft publisher, but didn't want to pay the cost for the software. I decided to take a chance with Publisher Pro and was fairly impressed for the price. The "thousands" of design templates is sort of a misnomer, they use pretty much the same designs on all the different formats: flyers, postcards, newsletters, etc. But, Microsoft Publisher does that too. However, Publisher Pro was not nearly as user-friendly as Microsoft Publisher. And, the graphics library is indeed large, but many of the graphics are fairly unprofessional and dated. It takes a little getting used to, especially if you are familiar with the Microsoft Program. One thing that I am disappointed with is the fact that you cannot change color schemes easily in Publisher Pro (or at least, I haven't figured it out yet and it's not intuitive). The program does come with a very detailed and large instruction manual that I'm sure would be helpful. But I don't think someone familiar with publishing software should have to use it to do basic tasks. I couldn't decide to give it 3 or 4 stars, but decided that it was a very good value and does have a lot of potential if you are willing to learn how to use the program. Intellimover Transfer Your PC Deluxe

5 stars (Worked great) - I bought this program with my new Dell. It worked great! it was effective and simple to use. If you get a new computer buy this product 1 stars (It just didn't work.) - zOne of the least enjoyable parts of getting a new PC is the migration of data from the old machine. Even though the hardware and software configurations of both my old and new PCs are not unusual or particularly complex, the idea of moving large quantities of data from numerous applications is odious. When I read about Intellimover Transfer Your PC Deluxe , I thought it would be just the thing to ease the transition to my new PC. I didn't only read the quick set-up guide, but the entire product manual. I prepared both PCs according to the instructions including reinstalling my applications on the new machine. The product software installation, although a little slow, completed successfully on both devices. When the Intellimover program called for connection of a cable between the PCs, I connected the supplied USB cable. The software indicated that there was no handshake between the boxes. I did some troubleshooting including reinstalling the product twice since interrupting the migration requires a full reinstall on both PCs. I determined that USB cable was faulty. I called Nova Development Technical Support who, after going through their troubleshooting routine, confirmed that the cable was bad. Rather that send me another cable, they told me to return the product to Amazon. Amazon did a very quick turnaround and I soon had a new Intellimover package. I reinstalled the software, got a good connection between the PCS, and started the data migration. Shortly afterward, the data transfer stopped and I lost the connection. More troubleshooting. More reinstalls. Back to Tech Support who did more troubleshooting and had me do reinstalls after deleting certain files. No change. More diagnostics. Nova Art Explosion 800-000 Clip Art

1 stars (quantity not quality) - 800,000 images without keywords - the only useful parts of this collection are the classic and traditional .tif's that you can take into illustrator and turn into vector. The high res images aren't, the clipart is less than microsoft office online quality and I've gotten far more use out of a 50,000 image collection b/c they took the time to keyword and catagorize the collection. If you like to look thru a book and put in one of the 32 disks and then find the image - then this collection is for you. If you want to have any sort of search capabilites, look elsewhere. 5 stars (No more feeling bad!) - I am so pleased with this purchase!! Under normal circumstances if I spend anything over $1.00 I get caught in a spiral of buyers regret. This is a feeling that I have grown accustomed to. 1 stars (Waste of time and money...) - Art Explosion should do just that - EXPLODE! It is just TIME CONSUMING trying to find what you want. The software doesn't have all of the graphics the user's manual does. Don't waste your time buying this... The art in here looks like a third grader's! The FEW that are good (and there are FEW) look amateurish. What a RIP-OFF!!! 1 stars (Not worth the price) - I thought the graphics were weak and seemed limited to either too cutesy, cartoony stuff or overly fluffy granny stuff. I did like the selection of fonts and headlines, though. I am still trying to figure out why I'd bought this one and not just gone for the clip art programs. Based on the good reviews it got, I thought it would be as good as The Print Shop 11 which has better graphics for all age groups. 5 stars (It's Great!) - I've tried most, if not all, of the greeting card programs for the PC. Now that I'm a Mac user, I'm expecially pleased that there finally is such a good greeting card program for the Mac. This is a good complement to Nova Development's Print Explosion. The predesigned greeting cards in each program seem to be different. Between the two programs you can do a large number of "desktop publishing" projects. And, both programs are much easier to use than the high end desktop publishing programs used by professionals. 4 stars (New Mac user) - Just bought a Mac after using PCs for 20 some years. Not much choice in software! This program is easy to use and is fairly versatile - about on a par with the Windows application called "Card Studio" and not quite as versatile as "Print Artist". Was able to produce my annual Christmas card in a rather short time after receiving the software this PM. Menus and commands are intuitive and there is a better than average "manual" in the box. I put the CD in, and when I tried it out the first time it asked me some basic info about the company and I had custom designed invoices and estimates within minutes. 5 stars (Fun for the whole Family) - This software has done everything I have ever asked of it. It is powerful and easy to use. The slide shows it produces are always a big hit. I have enjoyed using this so much I got my mother in law one for her birthday. 1 stars (Nova Development does not pay rebates) - My recommendation is to avoid all Nova Development products if there is a rebate involved, or you think you might need to deal with customer service. This company does NOT pay rebates on time, if at all, and has some of the WORST customer service you will ever encounter. No Wonder, turns out they have an F grade with the BBB and are the subject of numerous complaints with the Attorney General's office. 5 stars (Easy to use and and has great choices) - I am familiar with the Greeting card factory delux and since I was familiar with the layout it was very easy to learn the Business Card Factory Delux program because it has virtually the same user interface which works very nice. It only took me a few minutes to have some professional business cards printed up. Great program 5 stars (It does the job) - I got tired of having tons of unused business cards with outdated info and I've decided to try making my own cards when it's needed. I bought this program and some Avery CleanEdge paper and installed it on my laptop. What was my impression? Well, it was easy as promised. Of course, many of their 4000+ design samples were not very impressive, but I found something very close to what I was looking for and customization took just a few minutes. When I entered my Avery paper code, it picked picked it up and printed just perfectly, the cards came out looking really good. So it does it's job and I've got what I've been promised in a very quick time. I can't say anything bad about this software, so I gave 5 stars. But I want to give you a little warning. if you're technically savvy and not going to use really advanced features like matching envelopes, blanks etc, then you can probably get the same thing done in regular Microsoft Word. It will take a little bit longer, but it's pretty much the same standard document editor with some clip art collection. So before you buy make sure you understand clearly what you want to get and it's really beyond what you can do with your favorite text editor. ...

1 stars (Very Disappointed!!!) - I purchased this software believing it would do great. Boy, was I wrong! This program is not worth the money I spent for it. I couldn't get the program to open up my picture files from my computer or from a cd. A window kept popping up that read, "unable to insert selected graphic because it is umrecognized format or is corrupt." They were all jpeg files which this software works with & I know there is nothing wrong with them. Hallmark Card Studio 2005 opened them up just fine! Also, every Greeting Card I opened up, a thing would pop up saying that this font is no longer available & so it is replacing it with another, & so you have to click "yes" to it every time. And, I have to mention that Nova Developments tech support team, did nothing to help. I talked to two different tech support personal who heard my problem, said they would check into it, & call me back, & niether one of them called me back! After three emails & two long distant telephone calls, that also cost me money, I gave up & took the program back to the store I purchased it from & luckily got a refund. Be very careful purchasing this program. 4 stars (Nice program) - This is a functional greeting card creator. There are some minor issues, not being able to see the inside/back of the cards until you select them and having to figure out how to install the additional clipart is a trick with the poor instructions, but if you know anything about a computer, this software wont' be a problem for you. 5 stars (I Like It) - This is the first card software I have purchased and will probably be the last. It is so much easier than cutting and pasteing papers; purchasesing all the supplies that are needed to create a photo scrapbook. I had success with my first project. Having this program and a digital camera, your ready to create works of art. I use photo paper to print our the completed page. 5 stars (Scrapbook Factory Deluxe 3.0) - I have only had this a short time and I am enjoying it very much. It is so easy to use and you can do so many different things with it. You can use their templates or create your own. I have used a few other scrapbook makers (American Greetings,Print Master, and Print Workshop) and this is by far the best. It does more than just scrapbooking. You can also design and print your own envelopes,address labels,iron ons,calendars, and small crafts for kids.
