5 stars (An interesting, and mechanical way to approach meeting with the opposite sex) - This book is absolutely filled with interesting theories on the art of social interaction and meeting women for dating and sex. 1/2 autobiography of the author Neil Strauss's social life for the last two years, and 1/2 story of the dark side of "The Game" in which a group of "Pick Up Artists" move in a house together, and it eventually collapses on itself. Looking at the book, you wonder just what exactly is "The Game" and when does one stop looking at life and meeting people not as a "set" or group, drop the "routines" and play in the real world instead. 5 stars (Trust REAL reviews.) - Please note that the review below, and most if not all reviews with 1-2 star reviews, especially those calling members of the community described in this book are all by one man who i shall not name, as he is merely a disgruntled man with a vendetta against this community of individuals who's goals is self-improvement, please take a look at reviews done by the top 50 and real name reviewers. 1 stars (Wait for the Movie) - If you like to watch the TV shows "Friends", "Coupling", "How I met your mother", "Sex in the City", "The Single Guy" or "Nova" and you're looking for a story to read, than this book is for you. If you haven't read a book for pleasure for a long time but your looking for a "How To" book, then this book isn't for you. Read the book "The Sensuous Man" instead. I listened to Neil Strauss at a book signing. He "tours" with self proclaimed losers who call them themselves former losers who sell "How To Pickup Women" services. They sell nothing but air --- and that's free. If you're looking for a story but not a book reader, wait for the movie coming to theaters in 2008. ...

The Cosmo Kama Sutra - 77 Mind-Blowing Sex Positions

5 stars (Good Drawings, Modernized Text) - I first went and looked at the Kama Sutra in the free on-line version at books-on-line.com. The price was certainly right. But it was the original, ancient text, and somewhat hard to follow. Damn good reading, but sometimes hard to imagine just what they were talking about. Now comes this edition, very reasonably priced which takes the positions and illustrates them with drawings. It's a lot easier to understand. I guess that I'm just a bit too simple minded. A lot of these look pretty interesting, but some of them (Face-to-Face Fandango, page 65) looks like it would hurt. The book is put out by Cosmopolitan, so it's oriented to the female side. Each position has a 'Why You'll Love It.' A little bit of 'Why He'll Love It' wouldn't hurt. After all this is a two person sport. 4 stars (The Cosmo Kama Sutra) - The pictures are great and it is really fun. Some of the poses I found were some we had just done naturally. All in all I recommend the book. 4 stars (Cosmo always good!!) - Great book!! This book put back the blazing fire in my relationship. The Silent War- Ministering to Those Trapped in Deception of Pornography

5 stars (Helping Those Trapped in Pornography!!) - Henry Rogers doesn't pull any punches, here, in his expose of this tawdry topic, but all too common problem we have in our society. The chapters of his book include many different fronts, and cover the personal and private lives of those who have been harmed by pornography. He has included his own story, but there are some really good chapters, such as Chapter 4- She Has a Name, whereupon he cites Elis, Stefani, Amy, Kristen, and Julie, and he states that "their reason for existence is to satisfy lust, and that their names are insignificant." A truly troubling thought. Then there is Chapter 7 - VCR - Very Corrupt Rendevouz, and he states that due to the onset of this kind of technology in 98% of the homes, television permits you to be entertained in your living room by people you would not have in your home. And there is the other point that men are prone to sexual fantasy and the TV feeds their appetites quite well. Chapter 6 is another great chapter-Satan's Dynamic Duo: Hugh and Larry, and the chapter essentially focuses on Larry Flynt and Hugh Hefner. Hefner's father was apparently a descendant of William Bradford, the Pilgrim, and Flynt's parents raised him as a staunch Methodist, and while he went to college, he bought into Kinsey's teachings, hook, line, and sinker. Larry Flynt apparently met Jimmy Carter's sister, Ruth Carter Stapleton in 1977, and when he claimed to have seen the Apostle Paul on the "Hustler" jet in November, 1977, he is reported to have fallen to his knees, and Stapleton baptized him. However, he never left the pornography business. There are so many good chapters, and they're all provocative reading. Toward the end of the book, there is help for those who are seeking it, and for those who want to help. 1 stars (Five Minutes to Orgasm Every Time You Make Love - etc) - It seemed that it took a long time to get to the point - it drug out - maybe to make the book longer. The information was stated in a what I feel was a vulgar way to say things and there is no evidence of any morality whatso ever. As soon as I finished it it went into the waste basket. 5 stars (Useful Book with a Contemporary Viewpoint) - What I liked best about this book is that it treats women as if their bodies will react in predictable ways if the right buttons are pushed, and the author doesn't leave pushing the correct buttons solely up to the man. Why indeed, are women so varied in plumbing and psychology that many have dificulty achieving orgasm at all and yet almost all men achieve orgasm quite easily (at least while young)? Answer - they are NOT! Women are entitled to achieve orgasms just like men. You don't have to feel self-conscious. Just learn to face sex without fear and with a new measure of confidence you can learn with this book. 4 stars (Excellent Book ) - This can be a real challenge for some women, and also for some men who love women. In that respect, I think this book is a very good basic manual on the subject of orgasm and satisfaction, allowing both men and women to gain more of a grasp on the subject of female orgasm. There are some other books which are also excellent, most obviously being Tom Leonardi's "SECRETS OF SENSUAL LOVEMAKING" which provides a very masculine step-by-step plan or "system" for bringing a woman to what the author calls The Ultimate Orgasm, which involves the g-spot and the controversial mystical Female Ejaculating Orgasm. Contrast that with 5 MINUTES TO ORGASM EVERY TIME's guidance toward the Clitoral variety. With the help of Leonardi's book and a caring man, I have come to be a great enjoyer of Both now. 4 stars (Great book) - I was a little hesitant when I bought this book but did so because I the reviews. This book is great. It gets the the heart of so many marriage matters in a very meaningful and usable way. I am going to ask my husband to read it so we can talk about some of the subjects. 5 stars (I would recommend to ANY woman) - I am engaged, and just finished reading this book. It has been so incredibly helpful. I would recommend it to any woman (whether married or not) because I think it accurately displays the aspect of sex like the Bible intends for it to be. I have never had sex before, yet learned so much from this book because it discussed sex as it's meant to be- in such a healthy, beautiful way. It is also a great book for anyone who has been abused or has not lived in an environment in which sex was a healthy thing. 4 stars (My wife and I like this book) - Okay, I'm not woman; but my wife is, and we both read and liked this book. Here's our combined review: Pros: 1. Easy to read - Conversational style of writing and clear points. We each read it in one sitting. 2. Adults only - Sometimes a grown-up discussion is required. This is a book for married women (and men). It is explicit and direct (without being crude) about physical sexual information. It is definitely not appropriate for girls (or boys). 3. Scriptural approach - Instead of just giving motherly advice, the authors take the Bible seriously and frequently use it as a home base to direct their thoughts. Mind you, this is not a Bible study per se'. There is plenty of 21st century, frank counseling advice, but it is blended and based upon Biblical principles. Provides a scriptural index to locate where specific passages are mentioned - useful to Bible teachers. 4. 1 stars (Don't Believe it Ladies! From a real man) - Men don't commit for several reasons, little of which is stated by the good Doctor. 1. Yes, men are afraid to commit because there is much to lose and little to gain in this "feel good" society for a man to get married. Many women only commit to relationships today if THEY are the able to reap the benefits whether emotional, financial, security etc. from the relationship while for men it is a lifelong journey. Fact: Many more women leave men and divorce them than men leave the woman for the very same reasons as stated above. Contrary to the Hollwood myth, most divorce is filed by the woman, near 70%. 2. It is this very self centered attitude that makes many men wonder "Does she really love me for me" and "Why would I make a commitment because if we divorce I lose everything". So, ladies the Doctor is right about some things but wrong in many others. If you really love your man, tell him and show him. Be honest with him, don't play games and if you don't love him for him, with all his faults. Then you don't love him. 5 stars (Makes Sense) - This book makes sense. It tells you the 4 reasons a man will commit that women often aren't aware of. Also, it discusses how to argue, although the book, "The Seven Principles of Making Marriage Work: A Practical Guide from the Country's Foremost Relationship Expert" covers is best! However, this book is good at explaining why men don't/do commit, based off his research. Written for the woman's perspective. Much better than "The Rules"!
