5 stars (Great relaxation CD!) - I purchased this CD for my kids (ages 9 & 6)about a year ago. They love it and so do I. At first they were both a little giggly at it but then after a night or two they were asking for it and it began to be part of our nightime ritual. I love it as well and have found it to be very relaxing myself. I have some of my own relaxation CD's that I listen to and this CD uses the same methods for relaxation but in a kid friendly way! It's just great. I'm looking for another one for some variety. 5 stars (Indigo Dreams) - This is a great relaxation CD. I purchased it for my 9 year old son, who is having problems with night terrors and anxiety in general. Since we have started listening to it to go to sleep, the night terrors have significantly decreased and he seems more relaxed overall. I highly recommend this CD -- it is a great way to teach children how to relax. 5 stars (Great for the entire family!) - I recently ordered this CD for my 4 yr old daughter. The first night we listened to it together, and she enjoyed it very much. Even I managed to follow the stories and relax right along with her. It helped her fall to sleep and have a restful night. No more nightmares or monster's under the bed, she looks forward to bed every night. Highly recommed it to parents of kids with a lot of energy. You won't believe the change. ...

5 stars (Just what you are looking for...) - This book handles all the issues about sexual purity for every young man. Great. 3 stars (It makes me mad how this book portrayes the girls like they are victims.) - Are they victims? One of the girls says, "I was so wanting to wait for my wedding night, but I also wanted to make him happy, so I let it go too far." So its all his fault? He was wrong for pressuring her but she is wrong for letting it happen. She said he herself. "...but I also wanted to make him happy." Forget about his happiness. She said she wanted to wait for her wedding night. So she should have. So stop acting like its all the guys fault. Another girl stated that she really like this guy and he tried some things that made her uncomfortable. She said she asked him to stop but he persisted. "Finally he just wore me down and I eventually gave in. He had weakend my defenses." What! Ok, again. Guys should stop pressuring these girls like this. But it makes me mad that she settled for that. Oh woe is her. For goodness sake stand up and tell the guy no, and if he tries anything again. He's out of here. Another girl said she hated making her boyfriend feel bad and having the blame pushed back on her. So she gave in. So here is another victim. How come these girl couldn't stand up and say that she is not going to do it no matter how much he tries? And if he tries it again. She out of there. I'm sick of this blame being pushed on guys. I know we try. But these girls make it seem like that if we do try they are not powerful enough to resist. Is that true ladies? If it is, no wonder the guys are persistent. I have seen some very strong girls in my time and maybe somebody should teach these girls to be also. I remember a time when I was kissing this girl, which was her idea by the way, but when I tried to see if could have sex with her. She became furious. 5 stars (Thought Provoking) - In reviewing the reviews written for this book I was appaled at some of the reviews that I read. I seems that this world is trapped in a "Hollywood mentality" in which every book should read like a movie, fast and shallow. This book is much deeper. Although it is short, and obviously cuts out some of the trying times they must have gone through at camp, the author chooses to write it as an uplifting message. Anyone who is bored by this book is missing the deeper message. Children/people with handycaps are human also, and they have to suffer much more than any of us could possibly imagine. This is a story about special children allowed to be normal children, like they were meant to. 1 stars ( The Acorn People Book Report) - 1. The Acorn People takes place in Camp Wiggin, with all the usual camp settings like a pool, mountain, art room, etc. etc. The main character is Ron, a youthful camp counselor hoping to make an extra buck by volunteering. He manifests a selfish, arrogant personality at first, but later you see his more passionate, caring side when he really bonds with the kids. The first boy is a victim of polio, Benny, who is about 12 and African American. Suffering from muscle sclerosis, Thomas Stewart, a young teen, weighs only 35 pounds. The most loquacious client is Spider; he lost both his arms and legs in a gruesome car accident, but adapts and uses his mouth for everything. Not having a bladder takes its toll on social skills, especially in the case of Arid Aaron. His lack of bladder forces him to carry around a bag for his malodorous bodily fluids, hence the name. The most able bodied of the group is Martin, a blind boy. The point they are trying to get across in this book is that disabled persons can do anything non-handicap persons can do; we are all equal.
